The oldest and largest of Cologne's Romanesque churches, built upon the foundations of a Roman temple. Its unique floor plan is modeled after the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and houses treasures such as an 11th-century carved wooden door and a 14th-century crucifix. Sightseeing is limited to times outside of religious services.
