Founded in 1347 by Charles IV, Emauzy is a historic Benedictine abbey known for hosting Slavic liturgy. Destroyed by World War II bombing and famously restored in the 1960s with modern white concrete towers, it features original 14th-century Gothic cloisters and frescoes.
